Verse: "My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." - Psalm 121:2 (NIV) đź“–

Verse: "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." - 2 Corinthians 4:18 (NIV) đź“–
Encouragement: This verse encourages us to maintain an everlasting perspective, focusing on the things of God rather than the temporary distractions of this world. By fixing our eyes on the eternal, we align our lives with God's purpose and find meaning beyond the fleeting moments. This perspective brings peace and hope, knowing that our true treasure lies in the unseen and everlasting.
Prayer: Dear God, help us to fix our eyes on the eternal and not be distracted by the temporary. Grant us the wisdom to live with an everlasting perspective, focusing on Your will and purpose. Strengthen our hearts to seek what is unseen and to find our hope and peace in You. In Jesus' name, amen. 🙏

5 WAYS TO BE A LIGHT FOR JESUS IN THE WORKPLACE.
By: Margaret A.
I am a firm believer that all Christians are called into full-time ministry. No matter where we live or work, we are called to minister to all those around us. Acts 1:8 says, “…you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Simply put, you, as a believer in Christ, are called to show and live out the love of Christ in your community, nation, and the world.
Although I now work in full-time vocational ministry, before this I spent many years in the corporate world. It's a place where, most often, pride and power reign supreme, and where integrity can be hard to find. I know the difficulty and risk that can come from living out our faith on the “corporate” stage. However, even if you can't openly discuss Jesus with everyone that stops at your desk, you can still live out your faith. Even though the work I was employed to do did not directly affect the Kingdom, I started each day with a desire to do what I could despite that. Here are some ways that you too can live out your faith at the workplace.
USE KIND WORDS
It is really easy, in the hustle of work life, to forget basic decencies of language. Please…thank you…Underused and underrated. Take the moment not to just ask someone how they are, but listen to the reply. If you see someone do something good, encourage them. I'm not talking about flattery, that never goes far. I'm talking honest to goodness encouragement. Of course, you may have to slow down to notice.
BE RESPONSIBLE
Work hard and work with integrity. Only promise what you can do and deliver on what you promise. The goal here is to set yourself apart. In an arena where excuses and lies are an accepted and almost expected form of communication, it is important that your life reflects a different standard. Work as unto the Lord… Colossians 3:23-24.
SHARE YOUR LIFE WITH OTHERS
One of the quickest ways that my coworkers found out about my faith was by them asking me what I did over the weekend or on vacation. I answered them fully. “I spent the week with my church's youth group doing some relief work in New Orleans.” Or “I spent Saturday at a lock in at the church.” Maybe your stories will revolve around your family, bible studies, church, or other things, but sharing our life with others will often open the doors of sharing our faith.
SERVE OTHERS
Are you the “big man on the totem pole”? Are you the last person through the building and have to clean the toilets? Believe it or not, you can serve others even past your position. I know that sometimes it can be hard to see opportunities to serve, but if you pray and ask, the Lord will show you. Remember, serving is a form of sacrifice (of our time, talents, and provisions). Follow David's lead in 2 Samuel 24:24, and do not offer sacrifice unto the Lord which cost you nothing.
FINALLY, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, PRAY
Oh yeah, seems simple in theory, but it can be hard in practice. The more difficult the coworker, the harder it is to pray. But if life has taught me anything it is that what people act out in their lives at work is often a reflection of their personal life. So pray my friends, because you may be the only person doing so.
I know that some of these things may seem scary or impossible. But I trust that as you truly desire to live out your love of Jesus and His love for you, you will gain the courage and will be presented with great opportunities to share Jesus love with others.

Let's PRAY for YEMEN 🇾🇪.
PRAYER POINTS
• Pray for the long-awaited peace, stability, and revitalization of Yemen.
• Pray for God's mercy, comfort, and provision for the hungry, sick, poor, and exploited.
• Pray for every Yemeni to have the opportunity to hear the Gospel of Hope.
SUMMARY
Yemen was historically known as Arabia Felix, or the “Happy Land.” That’s because this small nation used to be one of the most fertile regions in the Arabian Peninsula. Yemen’s mountain ranges were welcoming sites for rain and agriculture. The term “cafe mocha” even comes from the Yemeni town, Mocha, which boasted a thriving coffee trade until the 18th century. But today, Yemen is sadly the poorest Arab nation and is currently facing the world’s largest humanitarian crisis. Decades of war and unrest have torn this nation apart, leaving it crippled by long-standing social, political, and economic instability.
Civilians have borne the brunt of the violence and suffering caused by civil war since 2015. Over 80% of the population is in need of humanitarian assistance – half of them children. Yemen’s famine crisis is one of the worst on the planet. With only 51% of hospitals functional, medications in short supply, and little to no clean water, diseases that should be preventable have claimed thousands of lives. The world’s largest cholera outbreak – with around 1 million cases – continues to ravage the population. Yemen’s immense water shortage is only made worse by the widespread use of the country’s most popular narcotic, qat, which demands approximately 40% of the nation’s water supply. Terrorist and militant groups like Al-Qaeda, Islamic State, and the Houthis have taken advantage of the chaos and human suffering to gain territory and momentum.
But the most dire issue in Yemen is that it remains one of the least evangelized nations on earth. Only 0.2% of its population knows and follows Christ; 99.7% of the population is Muslim. The gruesome treatment of Yemen’s small body of believers keeps this nation in the top ten for worst persecution of Christians. Most believers are first-generation. The majority of expatriate or migrant Christians have fled due to war and violence. Of the few believers that remain, most have converted from Islam. If discovered, they are often banished from their tribe or brutally murdered. Evangelism is against the law, and those who do so risk death. Still, despite these unrelenting restrictions, Christians have found ways to meet together. Through social media and secret gatherings, the Church in Yemen continues to grow, and more people are turning to Christ than ever before!

Our faith guarantees us permanent access into this marvelous kindness that has given us a perfect relationship with God. What incredible joy bursts forth within us as we keep on celebrating our hope of experiencing God’s glory! But that’s not all! Even in times of trouble we have a joyful confidence, knowing that our pressures will develop in us patient endurance. And patient endurance will refine our character, and proven character leads us back to hope. And this hope is not a disappointing fantasy, because we can now experience the endless love of God cascading into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who lives in us!

The life of Maricar and Hayden was once a scandal of lust and disgrace BUT is now a scandal of His grace.
THE SCANDAL OF GRACE.
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

There are grave consequences for others if we don’t follow the Great Commission.
We know “whoever does not believe will be condemned” (Mark 16:16). If we do not learn to live out the Great Commission and share our faith, there may be people in our lives who will face eternal condemnation as a result.
Is this something they want to live with?
