I won’t go as far as saying it was a normal day in the neighbourhood - but I will say this… I have felt nothing but pride for the place I call home 🇦🇪

I was here for the storms in 2024, and once again I’ve been so impressed by the UAE’s commitment to making us feel safe, even in the most uncertain moments. The speed, the organisation, the reassurance - it doesn’t go unnoticed.

As a mother of four girls, safety isn’t a luxury for me - it’s everything. Of course there have been moments where my heart beat a little faster. Moments where I checked on them twice, But those moments were short lived, because what surrounded us was calm, structure, and care.

And in the quiet, I can’t help but think about the millions of people around the world who face situations like this without the privilege of this security. Without the option of “I’ll just get on the first flight out.” Without the comfort of knowing that the loud sound overhead means protection and not danger.

That perspective stays with you.

I feel blessed. Blessed to feel safe. Blessed that my children feel safe. Blessed to witness true community spirit, neighbours checking in, messages flying back and forth, that unspoken sense that we’ve got each other.

It reminded me that safety is not something to be taken lightly. Community is not something to overlook. And gratitude should never be an afterthought.

We are the lucky ones.

My show .dubai has been nominated for a Award!

I’m honestly beside myself. My first ever show in Dubai - and to be recognised like this feels so special. Career-wise, it was a huge moment. But personally, it meant so much more than that. It truly felt like the beginning of a new era for me.

If you were there, you know exactly what I mean. We laughed, we cried, we partied… and now this 😭🥂

To be embraced in this way by the place my girls and I now call home feels incredibly emotional. I’m so grateful, so proud, and so full of love 🥹🤍

I’ll be turning 45 in 12 days.
This is me with no makeup on.
I’ve never done anything cosmetically to my face other than use skincare.

What I use on my face is hands down my most asked question…online and in real life, so here goes…

My number one tip is a controversial one;
I don’t use water on my face. Ever.

I stopped using water when I was about 19 because my skin would react badly to different types of water as I travelled so much. Back then I was using baby wipes 🤣 but in the 2000’s introduced me to cream cleansers ❤️

I have very sensitive skin, and this one change made the biggest difference for me.

Below, are the specific products I currently use. They have changed over the years as my skin has changed and most recently moving to a new climate inspired a few tweaks. I don’t use all of them every day. I’ll share my actual routines in the new year x

Water Bank intensive Moisturiser & sleeping lip mask
