Watching our beautiful princesses go through their Bel Vivaah was such a beautiful and emotional moment for us✨
I feel truly lucky to have them in my life and even luckier to witness such a meaningful and sacred ceremony. Seeing them dressed like little brides, full of innocence and joy is something we’ll cherish forever🥹🧿🪬🧿

✨Bel Vivaah of Shanaya & Nerissa✨
Day 1
Bel Vivaah is a beautiful and deeply symbolic ritual in Newar culture of Nepal. It is often referred to as the “marriage to the bel fruit.
In this ceremony, young Newari girls are ritually married to a bel fruit (wood apple), which represents the eternal god Lord Vishnu🙏🏻 So the girl is believed to never become a widow, no matter what happens in her future human marriage🧿
