The Godfather!

When I was in college, one of the books that was on everyone’s lips was White Heat!
The photographs captured by the late Bob Carlos Clarke captured some incredible moments in the famed Harveys kitchen !

In those photos you can see and feel the intensity of that era!
Marco was one of the main inspirations for me to become a professional chef, his passion and pure drive to strive for excellence, was something I admired and still do to this very day!
I got to meet one of my Heroes today, I was incredibly nervous of course, he signed a copy of his book, that I specifically took with me, and the words he wrote could not have been more fitting.
“Dear James - Respect- MPW !”

I really respect and admire everything he has done and achieved!
Thank you for everything that you have done for our industry, you have inspired countless chefs to push themselves beyond their limits to become great!
