Virtual Uniform Try-On at the GEMS SRI Launch Event with Threads
We were proud to be part of the meetup with parents event for the GEMS School of Research and Innovation (GEMS SRI), the most forward-thinking institution in the region, held on the 23rd of May at Jumeirah Mina Al Salam, for an exclusive evening with the team behind GEMS SRI, where innovation and interactivity took center stage.
The event showcased the school’s cutting-edge approach, offering immersive technology experiences for visiting parents and students. One of the standout attractions was our Augmented Reality (AR) Virtual Uniform Try-On, created in collaboration with Threads.
Children had the opportunity to try on their new school uniforms virtually, enjoying a seamless and playful experience, all without the need for physical changing rooms.
The activation received enthusiastic feedback. Young students were excited to explore different uniform options with just a tap, while parents appreciated the smart, futuristic solution that brought convenience and joy to the school onboarding journey.
We are excited to continue delivering engaging AR experiences that connect brands, schools, and communities in meaningful ways.
