Getting rid of the things that holds memories is so hard.
To you it might look like just denim pieces, when in fact it is all the outgrown jeans my kids used to wear.
It is the hours I spent planning the design, cutting the pieces to the perfect size, carefully stitching the quilt pattern and then the blocks together.
There is and will never be another like it…
The thought of getting rid of it, crushes my heart a bit, but I keep reminding myself, we have to look forward at what is ahead, and not stay stuck looking in the rearview mirror.
