The first three seconds on your Shopify homepage are critical.

Your above-the-fold needs to clearly answer who it is for, what you sell and why it is worth their attention.

Most “nice” heroes are vague: a pretty image, generic headline, no real proof and multiple buttons.

The result is confusion and lost revenue.

A better hero has a clear value proposition, one main call to action, a supporting line that explains the offer and a visual that actually shows the product.

Add a small proof element and you are already ahead of most stores.

Many Pakistan SMEs live on the “Boost” button.

It feels easy, but it creates random reach, no real tracking and a lot of guesswork.

In this SME case, we paused the random boosts and built a simple campaign structure instead: clear objectives, separate cold and remarketing campaigns, proper pixel and conversion tracking, and creatives built around specific offers.

Within a few weeks, CPL became more stable and the founder could finally see which campaigns were truly working.

The takeaway: stop treating ads like a Boost button and start treating them like a system.

On the dashboard, this ad account was “losing”.

In reality, it was a tracking problem.

Once we audited the setup, we found missing purchase events, duplicates across platforms and no clear blended MER view.

After fixing the tracking, the same campaigns looked very different and the brand realised it had been cutting a channel that was much closer to profitable than it seemed.

Before you slash budgets or scale “winners”, clean up your data.

Bad tracking creates bad decisions.
