Disappear.

This fence line has been overcome by a dune. Looking at the image reminded me of the INXS song of the same name.

I wish Michael Hutchence didn't have to disappear so soon. In my early teens, I thought of him as the Jim Morrison of my time. Between them they had enough charisma to solve all the world's energy problems.

And talking of charisma, Disappear could be about my wife: "When I see you coming, I can take it all." I hope y'all have some love in your life today - it really helps to take it all.

What a word. Tuft!

This one was sitting in the desert sand pock marked by the recent rain, making it look like snow.

Desert surrealism.

We took the dog for a walk in the desert with coffee and croissants. A nice way to start the day. I found a broken mirror out there. How did it get there?! I thought it would make an interesting subject and my daughter wanted to get involved.

This post will serve as my reminder to go back out with gloves and a box to collect the pieces so no person or animal collects and injury.

We've had both our kids in hospital this week, once with illness that had some profound effects, and another with a minor injury. They're fine.
