A wearable pump can absolutely be part of a successful breastfeeding journey. The key is understanding how to use it!
Wearable pumps can provide so much freedom and flexibility for pumping on the go, running errands, doing housework, working, and more.
If you are interested in using a wearable pump, here are some tips to help support and protect your milk supply:
• don’t use the wearable pump more than 3 times in 24 hours
• pump for a few minutes longer than you would with your primary pump in order to remove more milk
• make sure you are using the correct fl**ge size
• use a manual pump or hand expression after pumping to help remove remaining milk and maintain supply
• wait to use a wearable pump until your milk supply is well established, at least 6 weeks, if not 3 months
• have an understanding of your typical output with your primary pump before using a wearable. This way you can have an idea of your typical pumping output and you’ll know if your wearable is removing milk effectively!
I have had a wonderful experience pumping with new E-Ladybug breastpump. It has some incredible features and it makes pumping on the go feel like a breeze!
While wearable pumps can be incredibly convenient, most parents will have the best long-term success using them in combination with a primary pump to help protect milk supply.

What’s new? 👀
✨It has a redesigned ComfortCare fl**ge, made from ultra-soft, eco-friendly silicone, and includes four interior ridges designed to help reduce friction and tugging on breast tissue.
✨It comes with a removable SpillGUARD stopper that can be worn while pumping to help reduce spills in the event of your pump being kicked off or knocked over - without impacting suction.
It still utilises the same strong, natural suction and is applied the same way as our Gen. 1 and Gen. 2 pumps BUT offers more comfort for sensitive breasts. We’ve also kept the suction base for your convenience ❤️
