Last weekends private birthday dinner for 32 guests!

What better way to celebrate than an intimate gathering at home with your favourite people.

March, a strange one to say the least. In the midst of all this madness it’s been so lovely to see a community really look out for eachother 🤗

In between the missiles, drones and floods there’s been a fair bit of comfort eating; hot cross buns with fresh cream AND butter, pan con tomate (tomatoes from are incredible by the way), got into my brioche era, sausage n mash.
In good news M&S finally started stocking my favourite ready meal 😂 (I don’t always get time to cook for myself but this is actually slaps!!)

Also grateful to have had some lovely events this month too, lots of cake! 😍

Writing happy birthday on a fully iced cake was probably the most nerve wracking thing I did this week!

I don’t usually take cake orders, but it’s good to refresh your skills now and then.

This was lemon chinois sponge with vanilla buttercream, lemon curd & raspberry jam.
