An evening where culture, photography, and diplomacy came together ✨
Hosted by the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Abu Dhabi, the opening of the “Kemet” Photography Exhibition gathered ambassadors, diplomats, artists, media representatives, and cultural figures around the visual outcome of a unique photography journey across Egypt.
Organized by the Emirates Photography Society in collaboration with UBMS and Sony, the journey brought Emirati photographers from the UAE to the heart of Egypt — capturing its history, identity, culture, and spirit through their lenses.

استضافت سفارة جمهورية مصر العربية في أبوظبي افتتاح معرض “كيمِت” الفوتوغرافي، بحضور عدد من السفراء والدبلوماسيين والفنانين والإعلاميين والشخصيات الثقافية، احتفاءً بنتائج الرحلة الفوتوغرافية التي جمعت مصورين إماراتيين لتوثيق جمال مصر بعدساتهم.
الرحلة نظمتها جمعية الإمارات للتصوير الضوئي بالتعاون مع UBMS وSony، في تجربة بصرية وثقافية نقلت روح الحضارة المصرية من قلب مصر إلى أبوظبي 🇪🇬🇦🇪

احتفالاً بجسرٍ من الفن والثقافة بين دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة وجمهورية مصر العربية، استضافت سفارة جمهورية مصر العربية في أبوظبي تحت رعاية سعادة السفير/ عصام عاشور سفير جمهورية مصر العربية لدى دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، المعرض الفني لرحلة “كيمِت”، التي نظمتها جمعية الإمارات للتصوير الضوئي بالتعاون مع UBMS وSony.
امتدت الرحلة لمدة 11 يوماً عبر عدد من المدن والمواقع التاريخية المصرية، حيث وثّق عدد من المصورين من بينهم إماراتيين ومصريين جمال الحضارة المصرية بعدساتهم، في تجربة فنية وثقافية تعكس قوة الصورة في تعزيز التقارب بين الشعوب. وخلال الرحلة، قامت Sony و UBMS بتجهيز المصورين بأحدث معدات وتقنيات التصوير الاحترافية لدعم تجربتهم البصرية وتوثيق الحضارة المصرية بعدسات إبداعية.
وشهد افتتاح المعرض حضور عدد من أصحاب السعادة السفراء والدبلوماسيين المعتمدين لدى دولة الامارات العربية المتحدة إلى جانب نخبة من الشخصيات الثقافية والإعلامية في أبوظبي.

Celebrating a cultural bridge between the UAE and Egypt, the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Abu Dhabi, under the patronage of H.E. Ambassador Essam Ashour, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the United Arab Emirates, hosted the “Kemet” photography exhibition for the journey organized by the Emirates Photography Society in collaboration with UBMS and Sony.
The 11-day photography journey across Egypt brought together Emirati and Egyptian photographers alongside with other nationalities to capture the beauty, heritage and spirit of the Egyptian civilization through their lenses. Throughout the journey, Sony and UBMS equipped the photographers with professional imaging gear and tools to support their visual storytelling experience across Egypt.
The exhibition official opening welcomed Ambassadors, diplomats, media representatives and distinguished guests, alongside prominent cultural and media figures from Abu Dhabi.
