First canvas of the series City of Gold: Museum of the Future almost done!

The Museum of the Future in Dubai is one of the most iconic and innovative buildings in the world. Opened in 2022, it represents a vision of the future built on creativity, technology, and innovation.

Its unique architecture is made even more fascinating by the Arabic calligraphy covering the entire façade: three quotes by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, transformed into art by Emirati artist Mattar Bin Lahej.

The quotes reflect the philosophy behind both the museum and the city itself:

“We may not live for hundreds of years, but the products of our creativity can leave a legacy long after we are gone.”

“The future belongs to those who can imagine it, design it and execute it. The future does not wait. The future can be designed and built today.”

“The secret of the renewal of life, the development of civilisation and the progress of mankind is in one word: Innovation.”

The circular structure represents humanity, the green hill beneath it represents the Earth, while the empty void at the center symbolizes the unknown future.

More than a museum, it is a place that inspires people to imagine tomorrow.
