Some moments are meant to be enjoyed slowly

Last week, we gathered with Oka Ceramics for an afternoon of creativity, craftsmanship and matcha.

Guests explored the process of creating their own ceramic cups from clay, taking time to work with their hands, learn something new and enjoy a moment away from the usual pace of everyday life.

The best part? This is only the beginning. Soon we’ll be back together to add the finishing touches and bring each piece to life with color.

Thank you to everyone who joined us — we loved sharing this experience with you 🤍

Pink matcha. But not as you know it 💗🍭🍵

Made with dragon fruit, it’s a bright, refreshing twist on the classic matcha concept. Naturally vibrant, slightly fruity and surprisingly easy to make — even at home.

In cafés, guests love it for one simple reason: it’s different. Sometimes people don’t want the usual coffee or matcha, but they want something new and a little unexpected.

And when you combine it with plant-based milk, it becomes even smoother, creamier and more balanced in taste.

A small change in color… and a completely new experience in the cup. Pink Matcha by The Smara Collection available via the link in bio.

Matcha, clay and beautiful creative escape 🤍

Together with OKA Ceramics , we hosted our Matcha & Clay Workshop — an afternoon dedicated to creating, connecting and slowing down.

Our quests learned the basics of working with clay and created their own ceramic matcha cups while enjoying ceremonial matcha and good company.

The cups are now being fired, and we’ll soon be gathering again for the second part of the experience — painting and personalizing each piece before taking it home ✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We loved sharing this experience with you and can’t wait to see the finished creations.

Stop for a moment 🍵

In the middle of busy days, constant notifications and never-ending routines, sometimes we all need a small pause.

We selected a few Japanese phrases, simple reminders to breathe, reset and appreciate the present moment.

Maybe the Japanese were onto something after all?

Restaurant owners spend thousands perfecting their coffee menu — and still ignore one of the most underrated categories in cafés: tea.

Meanwhile, tea consumption in the UAE continues to grow, with tea remaining one of the most consumed beverages in the country after water. Studies have also shown that the UAE has historically been a strongly tea-drinking market due to its multicultural population.

And here’s the interesting part: not every guest wants coffee. A large percentage of customers actively look for caffeine-light, calming, wellness-focused options, especially in Dubai’s evolving café culture.

That’s why teas like Organic Ginger & Lemongrass Loose Leaf by are becoming more relevant than ever. Refreshing, aromatic, easy to drink, and naturally associated with wellness and relaxation.

A strong tea program doesn’t compete with coffee.
It expands your audience, increases repeat visits, and gives people one more reason to choose your café.
