But I keep wondering…
What if the word is simply Yoga?
Because Yoga:
– Regulates the nervous system
– Improves breath, improves energy
– Strengthens the brain-body connection
– Helps release stored tension
Yoga increases vitality.
Maybe we don’t need more sophisticated names.
Maybe we just need a present mind,
a strong body,
and a deep breath.

There were days I came to the mat to move.
And days I came just to survive.
Some days I felt strong.
Other days, I just breathed.
This practice met me exactly where I was.
That’s the energy behind everything I share.
I used to fear falling.
And more than that, I feared losing control.
That fear lived quietly in my body.
It showed up in moments where the world asked me to turn upside down — literally and emotionally.
I avoided inversions for a long time.
I told myself I wasn’t ready, that my body wasn’t built for them, that I didn’t need to go there.
But the truth was simpler:
I was afraid of what would happen once my feet left the ground.
The first time I stayed upside down a little longer than planned, my breath caught.
My hands were shaking, my mind screaming come down now.
And then something unexpected happened.
My body adjusted.
My breath found its rhythm.
The floor didn’t disappear beneath me.
There was a moment — brief, but powerful — where fear turned into curiosity.
Where effort softened into trust.
Where being upside down felt strangely alive.
Yoga has a way of revealing our patterns.
The same fears we carry in life show up on the mat.
Fear of falling.
Fear of losing control.
Fear of not making it back up.
But the posture isn’t asking us to conquer fear.
It’s asking us to meet it.
To breathe while it’s there.
To stay present without rushing to escape.
Some postures aren’t about strength or balance.
They’re about surrender.
About trusting that your body knows more than your mind allows.
