A thirty-three-year-old Nigerian business man, Obinwanne Okeke, who operated a group of companies known as the Invictus Group has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for fraud to the tune of $11m by a US Court.

The judgement was delivered by Chief District Judge, Rebecca Smith.

Juventus suffered a 2-1 loss to FC Porto in their first leg Champions League tie on Wednesday. Juventus were knocked out of the UCL by Lyon in the 2019/20 season despite winning the second leg 2-1 in Turin.

With a 2-2 aggregate, Lyon secured a last-8 spot by away goals in August 2020.

The council of ministers of the economic blocs, Southern African Development Community (SADC), Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) and the East African Community (EAC) had extensive discussions on several topics.

They also discussed the draft guidelines of the three-part mechanism on safe movement in the region.

Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood has signed a new contract with the club until 2025, with an option to extend.

The 19-year-old joined United at the age of seven and is one of nine Academy graduates to feature this season. Greenwood made his debut against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League in March 2019.

With 82 appearances and 21 goals, Greenwood is also United’s youngest goalscorer in European competitions. His most recent goal was against Liverpool in the FA Cup fourth-round tie.
