One thing reading consistently keeps reminding me of this:
Motivation is unreliable.
It shows up when things feel new and excited.
It disappears when the work turns repetitive, slow, or unclear.
What actually matters is what continues *after* motivation fades.
Not willpower.
Not dramatic discipline.
But simple systems that don’t depend on how you feel that day.
Lately, I’ve been paying less attention to whether I feel inspired,
and more attention to what still gets done on average days.
