Ever try test standing capacity in the real world?
Super important for events, but what's comfortable to allow capacity estimation? 1m2 per person or 2m2 or more?

Obviously, the type of event and demographic play a big part in perceived comfortable personal space.

Nonetheless, a cool little tool we have developed to test our destinations.

It's OK to think outside the 'box'.
Sometimes creating moments of wonder that make people laugh is important. Life can be serious; we like to free our creative minds sometimes!

Interesting now, with BIM / REVIT driving parts of our workflow, some of us are sketching more.... often to explain technical design solutions & details. Quick, clear and still visually, provocative.

We often use these little 'scratching' to align or sequentially, deliver a narrative.
Waterfront development, where 'terrestrial & marine ecosystems meet'.

Temporary Activation, in particular in 'hot' climates, is key the successful action of public open spaces. Event type, capacity, servicing & access are all key consideration. A few little test fits, to start to validate these areas spatially.

Often, smaller less prominent destinations allow for a little more creatively.
Their 'quirky' nature, facilitates 'freedom'.

A curated yet 'organic' tenant mix.

A big part of what the Studio enjoys doing, is creating multi-functional spaces.
Sometimes, that's creating a place to host or even just 'watch' events!
