In line with our ESG Policy at Greentec Energy, we maintain a thriving tree nursery project. We plant 1 tree each time we build a new biogas digester. Even though we are a green company operating in the renewable energy space, we recognize that there are unavoidable impacts our operations have on the environment. For example, we still use petroleum-based fuels for our vehicles and these emit CO2 and related emissions. Excavation to pave way for bio-digester installation disturb soil habitats. As a compensatory gesture, we plant trees and support the government of Zimbabwe's efforts to green the environment. Our quest to increase public access to affordable, clean, and renewable energy in Zimbabwe has seen us build, install, and commission biogas projects nationwide.
