I've been working on a case of suspicion of infidelity recently and we also had a number of potential clients with similar cases of late.
Three cases were scheduled to commence last week and were halted because of the tense political environment. It was kinda amusing to note that suspected cheaters stuck to their spouses this whole past week. I am of the opinion that if it is anything to go by, something positive came out of the black week after all. "Cheaters" stayed home. Let it be so always.
Of late I have been wondering why people cheat on their spouses and I have come to the conclusion that there's no justification to cheating on your spouse.
If you want what's outside, then I think it's best you leave what you have first before you can have another plate.
Just that many cases I have been receiving lately are of suspicion of infidelity or cheaters and in most cases the suspicions are confirmed. So sad.
So I am working on this case and it's a tricky one. It's an almost impossible case. The available clues were really vague.
Client insisted that we work on her case despite my doubts and advice to put it on hold until we have some clear leads. For starters I was supposed to look for someone, a female with no name, no phone number and no address. Just that she probably uses a certain surname and she works in a shop in Harare. No name of shop either.
However I have managed to get some really valuable Intel which is going to help me get the subject in question. I now have a name to work with. I expect to get a picture of the subject soon.
I just love my work. Thanks to the adamant client as well
I'm still wondering why people cheat. Married people who have made their vows and pledged fidelity to their one and only find themselves looking outside the window admiring the lawn next door.
All you gotta do is water your lawn and get it greener. Do whatever you have to, so that your spouse looks exactly as you want him/her to look. That's your responsibility. Stop cheating!
On the other hand, it gives us work to do. We will investigate and get evidence of the cheating spouse and expose them.
It's always exciting to tackle a new case. In our field of work there are no similar cases. They might seem similar but there's no one sure way to from A to Z. The time we put in preparation of a case and the dedication when executing the plan still baffles me.
We personalise every case and create a bond with the client which has seen us having some friends along the way. I can only attribute all this to great team spirit. Thank you all
There's always a connection when you do some emotional cases like looking for a missing child.
Recently I was called to investigate a case of a missing 8 year old boy. At a time when the social media is full of abduction stories it definitely drained me of energy having to deal with a case with little information.
It wasn't encouraging when I noted that the people living with the little boy weren't his biological parents. I was deeply involved in the case for the three days we searched for him. It wasn't an easy task. First questions would be to ask if they had quarreled with the little boy. What time did they figure out he was missing? What was he wearing? Are there some missing clothes or any personal items? All these questions were answered but non of the answers were as helpful. The close neighbours weren'thelpful either. Concerned relatives came to assist and it seemed like all was in vain.
Eventually, I followed a story about a friend from his previous preschool. Apparently the family had just moved from another residential area three months earlier. When I got the address it was just out of lack of ideas that I went to the place. There was no logic in going 10 km to that place. When I got there I was shocked to see the little boy there at his friend's place. It didn't make sense that the friend's parents had kept him there so I asked for older people and figured out the oldest person at that house was a young girl who's only 12. Her parents passed on a year ago. She had no idea what to do with the young boy except keep him safe.
Upon quizzing how the young fella got this far away from home he said he just heard the kombi touts shouting the name of the place he knew as 'home' and boarded the kombi.
Anyway, the family was glad to be reunited as they shed some tears. For me it was a lesson learnt and a job well done. Emotionally draining as well.......
Recently I was working on a case of finding a wanted man. The police had reported to our client that the wanted man was nowhere to be found. The accused/wanted man was wanted for an alleged fraud case. The chances of finding him looked gloomy. Our client who is the former employer of the accused person didn't have any substantial information to start the case. I advised our client not to waste any money on this investigation since chances of finding him were slim. However they insisted that I give it a try. I agreed.
I commenced investigations with only a little information. Client didn't even know any former residential place of the accused let alone any address. Only a fellow workmate gave some info that the accused mentioned about a certain church once. So armed with that info I started investigating. In two days I had found the accused. It was an interesting job. I think I'm gonna write a book soon.....
