I pre-booked for a cab last night for this morning at 730am. After an hour, I still had not received the booking confirmation email. I then rang the offices at 949pm to ask if my booking had been processed, the lady I spoke to assured me that the booking had been processed and I got receive the confirmation booking email at 7am today. Sure enough I received the email this morning at 7am. I received a call from the driver at 741am today informing me that he was on his way only to arrive at 803am, a whole 33 minutes late.

I then asked the driver what had happened and to my surprise he told me that he was only informed of the booking at 715am after he had passed through their offices meaning had he not gone to the offices no driver was going to turn up despite me pre-booking the night before.

Hwindi has INCOMPETENT admin staff at their offices. Don't bother pre-booking for early morning appointments, the admin staff will only process your booking after 7am despite their offices being open 24/7.

What a brilliant idea this was for Harare folk. Until i started using Hwindi...don't get me wrong the taxi drivers are excellent....its the people that control switchboard and Head Office that need to be replaced or receive some much needed TRAINING!!!!! Here's my story: Knowing that Hwindi taxi drivers usually cannot find my location, i ordered a taxi on Wed evening for Thur morning just to make sure THEY GOT IT RIGHT......then comes Thur morning......NO SIGN of the taxi, ladies that operate the switchboard at Head Office even worse(no sense of urgency and the switch-board operator goes on to tell me at 7:50am "oh sorry mam the driver could not find your location and he has now gone to Greendale".....Please kindly advise Do you guys not use GPS???This is so wrong on all levels....I missed my 8:00am appointment all because of incompetence which could have been avoided. Get your act together FAST Hwindi Team

With the car in the garage today being serviced. I opted to use Hwindi. I had one of the Executive cars with a driver. I had all types of car chargers, plenty of water, sweets, chocolates and very nice aircon. This was after their courier driver picked up
my goods from the warehouse and did a few deliveries for me. Once that was done they sent their tow truck to go pick up our car from the garage after service and drop it off at home. Wow what a Hwindi filled day. So much in love with this service.
