Our Story

Makonde Nutrition is a manufacturer and distributor of staple-based fortified foods, which are inspired by popular and traditional foods from Southern Africa. These include Mahewu, Corn Soya Blend, Multi-Grain Nutrimeal and Proteino complementary porridge for young children.
All our products are fortified with essential vitamins and minerals. They are available to the wider consumer market through our distribution network of agents, retailers and wholesalers.
The company is also a supplier to local and international NGOs, and some Government departments providing products for supplementary feeding and famine relief schemes.
