Talk about books I have read consistently from start to finish; The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman is one of them.

I had a great time spending time with this art piece.
It made me reflect, get to know myself better and also made me rearrange what I thought was my love language to actually knowing what my love language is.

I like the fact that, the book lay it out plainly that, love is a choice, you do not have to demand to your partner for him/her to do something for you but you can simply make a request.
And💥, a request can be willingly accepted or declined.
LOVE IS A CHOICE

Also learnt that;

💥Intentional love requires effort and discipline.

💥What we complain about most to our partners is our love language.

💥Honeymoon days=feelings and when these feelings die down ( munhu agara anongobhowa sometimes😂😂) you're left with a choice of loving your partner RIGHT (in their love languages).

💥Sometimes, because of childhood trauma, our love languages are altered in the process.

Haaaa this book is worth a read mhani🥲

Definitely not the first time reading it but it's a book I find worth revisiting over and over again.
The book has some hard truths about life - stubborn facts
Some of my favorites that I like keeping in mind are ;

💥Life is SHORT and UNFAIR....it is what it is girl, no one is going to hand you a silver platter in your hands lest you work for it. And even if you work for it you may actually end up not getting it😂....life goes on

💥Enjoy God gifts - the reason why I'm embracing cooking these days. It's a gift of creativity God gave me. I am enjoying 😉

💥Enjoy food and drink - something I do not really enjoy doing all the time😂. I can cook and end up not eating. But I really want to taste it all, even travel for food and drink..it's God's command naaaa😂 l should enjoy it!

💥Enjoy friendship- eeeh na God be my help on this. I suck at nurturing friendships. Half the time I'm always enjoying my company eeeeeh. Because it's God's command I will improve😂.
Yes I do have friends but will do better to make it more enjoyable and fun

💥Enjoy marriage- hehe married people on my wall do not discourage me saying heee uchazviona😂. Ndanzi enjoy so I will enjoy marriage!

💥A take home message for me from the book of Ecclesiastes- live purposely, respect and obey, the more you know the more it hurts, also, hauna kumbongwara kupfuura vamwe sterek dzikama, be humble, enjoy life💯
