[06/05/20]   We have a problem in Africa and we need to talk about it. 90% of our people would rather follow religious sermons frequently than attend business opportunities. Most church goers are not open for opportunities because they fear its against the scriptures to be rich. You can not fix the economy with scriptures and testaments. We need technologists, visionaries and artisans not people who believe "money is the root of all evil".

[06/09/19]   Samsung Galaxy Note 10Leak-Based Renders Suggests Removal of Dedicated Bixby Button

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is all set to launch in August, and now CAD-based 360-degree concept renders and video based on leaks have been shared, alongside leaked specifications. Based on the concept renders, the phone is seen to sport a hole-punch display. The selfie camera hole is placed in the middle on the top part of the display, instead of the right as seen in the current Galaxy S10 series. The phone sports a triple rear camera setup at the back as well. Key specifications include a 6.3-inch display, Snapdragon 855 SoC, and up to 12GB of RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is seen to sport a glossy reflective back panel with a triple rear camera setup aligned vertically and sitting on top right of the phone. The camera setup is only slightly protruding out, and there is no trace of a rear fingerprint sensor as well, suggesting an in-display fingerprint sensor on board. Up front, the phone sports a dual-edged bezel-less and notch-less Infinity-O Display. The hole-punch is positioned in the centre rather than the right side, as seen on the Galaxy S10 series. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is reported to sport a 6.3-inch (1440x3040 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED panel. This makes the display slightly smaller than the Galaxy Note 9. The renders have been published by 91Mobiles in partnership with Onleaks.

Looking at the renders, we can see that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 does not support a 3.5mm audio jack. The most interesting bit is that the dedicated Bixby button integrated into recent Samsung flagships isn't making a comeback on the Galaxy Note 10. Samsung is reported to have killed off the dedicated Bixby button, finally pulling back in its efforts to pursue users to use its voice assistant.

The power and volume buttons are on the right side of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10, and the speaker grille, S Pen, mic, and USB Type-C port are seen at the bottom edge of the phone. The SIM card tray,

Facebook Removes Millions of User Records Stored Openly on Amazon Servers

*📰SP62: Facebook Removes🗑 Millions of Exposed User Records Stored😨 Openly on Amazon's Servers*

Facebook said on Wednesday that it removed public databases containing its user data on Amazon .com's cloud servers after cyber-security firm UpGuard discovered millions of exposed records.

UpGuard's Cyber Risk team announced in a blog post on Wednesday that Mexico City-based news website Cultura Colectiva had used Amazon servers to openly store 540 million records on Facebook users, including identification numbers, comments, reactions and account names.

Another database, from an app called At the Pool, listed names, passwords and email addresses of 22,000 people, UpGuard said.

Cultura Colectiva said in a statement that all of its Facebook records came from user interactions with its three pages on Facebook and is the same information publicly accessible to anyone browsing those pages.

After the Moon in 2024, NASA Wants to Reach Mars by 2033

*📰LP82: NASA Wants to Humans🚀 to Reach Mars by 2033*

NASA has made it clear they want astronauts back on the Moon in 2024, and now, they are zeroing in on the Red Planet - the US space agency confirmed that it wants humans to reach Mars by 2033.

Jim Bridenstine, NASA's administrator, said Tuesday that in order to achieve that goal, other parts of the program - including a lunar landing - need to move forward more quickly.

"We want to achieve a Mars landing in 2033," Bridenstine told lawmakers at a congressional hearing on Capitol Hill.

"We can move up the Mars landing by moving up the Moon landing. The Moon is the proving ground," added the former Republican congressman, who was appointed by President Donald Trump.

NASA is racing to enact the plans of Trump, who dispatched Vice President Mike Pence to announce that the timetable for once again putting man on the Moon had been cut by four years to 2024.

The new date is politically significant: it would be the final year in Trump's eventual second term at the White House.

Microsoft Says No to April Fools' Day Pranks

*📰LB46: Microsoft Bans❌ April Fools' Day😂 Pranks From This Year*

You may hate (or love) April Fools' Day pranks, but tech companies surely love them. Big or small, pranks from major tech companies have become pretty common over the last several years. It's a day when companies promise out-of-the-world products and services, and, unfortunately, some people actually end up falling for them. While some pranks are purely hilarious, some seem very close to being real. But Microsoft is finally taking a stand against it.

Microsoft is putting an end to April Fools' Day pranks. In an internal memo, obtained and verified by The Verge, Microsoft's marketing head Chris Capossela has asked everyone in the company to not indulge in any 'public-facing April Fools' Day stunts'.

In his memo, Capossela claims such pranks have a very limited positive impact and can result in 'unwanted news cycles'. While most people on the Internet have now grown used to such pranks, it's still hard to filter out the real news on April Fools' Day when everyone is throwing all sorts of silly pranks at you.

Microsoft's move seems to make a lot of sense, especially in the age of social media where fake news takes just a few minutes to spread around. In his memo, Capossela, further adds, "I appreciate that people may have devoted time and resources to these activities, but I believe we have more to lose than gain by attempting to be funny on this one day."

'Missing' Angolan satellite contacted

*Contact made with 'missing' Angolan satellite*

Russian scientists have restored communications with a satellite days after they lost contact with it. Launched on 26 December, Angosat-1 will boost mobile and net communications in Angola as well as broadcast radio and TV shows.

Soon after launch, Russian ground control staff said they were no longer receiving data from the spacecraft. It comes soon after Russia revealed "programming errors" led to the loss of another multi-million-pound satellite.

The launch of Angosat-1 was the culmination of a project started in 2009 and was the first communications satellite built for Angola. The development and launch of the satellite cost more than 286m euros (£253m).

*The low-frequency gravitational waves could be detected by watching the position of stars, say scientists*

Scientists say that a low-frequency gravitational wave passing through Earth’s neighbourhood would cause the positions of distant stars to appear to oscillate slightly over time. By analyzing their pattern, one can figure out the wave’s frequency, amplitude, and polarization.

As per the calculations made by the scientists, the space telescope Gaia’s high-resolution data regarding star positions can help detect those low-frequency gravitational waves travelling through the Earth’s neighbourhood.

Currently, the LIGI detectors can detect wobbles made by gravitational waves at least 10 times per second. But the wobbles coming out from supermassive black hole merger may not be detected by the LIGO or Virgo detectors as their frequency rate is very low. But these low-frequency gravitational waves can make the Earth oscillate in its location with respect to the distant stars. Hence, from Earth, one can see distant stars shifting positions temporarily.

Apple apologises for iPhone slowdowns

📰 *CB7*: *Apple 🍎 apologises for slowing iPhone 📱 batteries down*

Apple has apologised after facing criticism for admitting it deliberately slows down some ageing iPhone models.

Some customers had long suspected the company used the measure to encourage people to upgrade.

Apple admitted to slowing battery performance, but said the measure aimed to "prolong the life" of the devices.

The company has now said it will replace batteries for less and will issue software in 2018 so customers can monitor their phone's battery health.

In a statement posted on its website, the firm said it would reduce the price of an out-of-warranty battery replacement from $79 to $29 for anyone with an iPhone 6 or later.

t said it was pushing ahead with measures to "address customers' concerns, to recognise their loyalty and to regain the trust of anyone who may have doubted Apple's intentions".

The firm has had eight separate lawsuits in the US filed against it over the matter, and had also been facing additional legal action in Israel and France.

[11/14/17]   THE POWER OF EXCUSES

While Many People Dream of Becoming a Better Person Than the Previous Year, Only a Few actually Do it.

WHY?

While Many People Dream of Quitting their Job and Starting their Own Business, Only a Few actually did it.

WHY?

WHY Is It That Some People Are More Successful Than Others?

BECAUSE the Power of their Excuse is More Powerful than their DREAMS.

1. FEAR.

2. I don't have the Money (who has?).

3. I don't have any contacts to start with (Really?). With 500 phone contacts & 2,000 FB friends?

4. I'm not smart enough (You have crowned yourself as a mumu)

5. I can't talk (Are you dumb?)

6. I don't have the time (Yet you have the time to wake up at 5am and get dressed in the traffic)

7. I'm too busy (Doing what exactly?).

8. It takes too long to build a business (But you envy Dangote)

9. I'm afraid. Building a business is too risky for me (Is eating not risky? Is sleeping not risky, people hv died in their sleep).

10. I don't like dealing with people ( Mr Island... I greet You your Excellency)

11. I'm too old (Colonel Sanders started @ 65yrs)

12. Waiting for all the lights to be GREEN (lights turn green when you press the button)

13. MY husband, my wife, my parents didn't support it (They don't support You to be broke either but You are).

14. My job is too demanding and I travel a lot (Arik Wings of Africa)

15. I'm not good at Marketing (Yet you are king of forwarding religious chains)

16. No, it's Network. I can't do it. (But you spread gossip but can't spread a business that will better your life?)

17. I'm not a professional (who was born a professional?)

But if they were the deciding factor, nobody would ever succeed.

For every reason why it's not possible, there are hundreds of people who have faced the same circumstances and succeeded.

Lots of people overcome these so-called limiting factors, so it can't be the limiting factors that limit you.

It's not the external conditions and circumstances thath

[11/03/17]   Words of wisdom:
“I think that wireless has the opportunity to solve a whole bunch of problems, including, I believe, world poverty. So the two areas that I talk a lot about and really believe are important are the wireless impact on medical technology and on social networking. Both of those two things are going to be revolutionary.” — Marty Cooper on the untapped potential of mobile technology in an interview with The Verge

[10/29/17]   Tell me what you know about bitcoin. Some are saying thefuture is here and bitcoin will put governments and central banks out of fashion. What is your take and please lets talk about it.

[10/12/17]   This is one of the best set of advise l have ever read.
1. Take risks in your life. If you win, you can lead; if you lose, you can guide.
2. People are not what they say but what they do; so judge them not from their words but from their actions.
3. When someone hurts you, don't feel bad because it's a law of nature that the tree that bears the sweetest fruits gets maximum number of stones.
4. Take whatever you can from your life because when life starts taking from you, it takes even your last breath.
5. In this world, people will always throw stones on the path of your success. It depends on what you make from them - a wall or a bridge.
6. Challenges make life interesting; overcoming them make life meaningful.
7. There is no joy in victory without running the risk of defeat.
8. A path without obstacles leads nowhere.
9. Past is a nice place to visit but certainly not a good place to stay.
10. You can't have a better tomorrow if you are thinking about yesterday all the time.
11. If what you did yesterday still looks big to you, then you haven't done much today.
12. If you don't build your dreams, someone else will hire you to build theirs.
13. If you don't climb the mountain; you can't view the plain.
14. Don't leave it idle - use your brain.
15. You are not paid for having brain, you are only rewarded for using it intelligently.
16. It is not what you don't have that limits you; it is what you have but don't know how to use.
17. What you fail to learn might teach you a lesson.
18. The difference between a corrupt person and an honest person is: The corrupt person has a price while the honest person has a value.
19. If you succeed in cheating someone, don't think that the person is a fool...... Realize that the person trusted you much more than you deserved.
20. Honesty is an expensive gift; don't expect it from cheap people.

[10/09/17]   *There is tomorrow*

Whenever you deal with people you must
always remember that you might need them in
the future . You may end up needing help
from the people who are asking for your help
today. Life is like a moving wheel, sometimes
you are up and sometimes you are down.
Sometimes we destroy the bridges that we
might need to cross later. Joseph helped the
cupbearer in prison and later the cupbearer
connected Joseph with Pharaoh. Imagine how
Portiphar’s wife felt when she heard that
Joseph was now the Governor of Egypt after
she had falsely accused him. The brothers
who sold Joseph away ended up needing
bread from him. Even when you have
differences with someone don’t go to the
extremes, have tomorrow in mind. When you
leave your job remember that you will need a
reference from your former boss. Jonathan
was the son of a King but he was nice to
David who was an ordinary citizen and it
helped in the future
2 Samuel 9:1 David asked, “Is there anyone
still left of the house of Saul to whom I can
show kindness for Jonathan’s sake?”
Long live people of God and let love lead.
