There have been a few of You sending Me the highest of light as I have been preparing for this trip and I thank You much. Should You have time tomorrow, tune in Friend.
**ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM**
The 1hr:30min discussion is dubbed 'Survival of the Artist: Women Centre Stage
This is a frank and forward-thinking conversation about the future of women in art and performance work in a pandemic and post-pandemic era. In this collaborative session, the speakers will examine how privileged men’s sense of entitlement is a pervasive social problem with often devastating consequences on women’s full participation. This panel will provide a space for our community to connect and come together in a time where so many are operating in isolation. How will our work come back? What new forms can it become? In the end, we will have laid out a collective charter to help us tackle the short-term and look ahead to the future.
A theatre centred annual festival, with the goal of promoting theatre nationally and internationally

Thank you all who made it possible for the world premiere of the theatre play I am/was Marah!
Audience Review:
Carine Tredgold said “Opening night Mitambo production ‘I am/was Marah’ - I’ve seldom seen such a good integration of narrative and dance, from dream figures infesting the mind of the guilty to the most tender moments of love, to brutal oppression from the abuse of power. A story well told, high energy, skill, and clarity”.
Charlene Mangweni Furusa said, “No maaaaan . This was mind-blowing. This is undoubtedly one of the best theatre pieces I have seen in a really long time. The experience can’t be explained or narrated. Ukutshelwa yikuncitshwa for sure lapha. This was a masterpiece. I was so enthralled couldn’t even take a single picture. Excellent directing”
