SAD💔 | A Zimbabwean man, Ishmael Tarasana, has died after he was allegedly stabbed during a dispute over R750 in Mamelodi, Pretoria. Reports say he was attacked by his employee, Prosper Muboko, and some other men while he was asking to be paid for work he had done at a house.

Tarasana was first taken to Mamelodi Hospital, then transferred to Steve Biko Academic Hospital, and later taken back to Mamelodi Hospital, where he sadly died from his injuries. Muboko reportedly ran away after the incident, and South African police are still investigating the case. Tarasana has not yet been buried.

‎On Saturday in the leafy suburb of Mabelreign, Harare, a young man named Tinashe arrived with a team of elders (vanyai) to pay the lobola (bride price) for his girlfriend Ruvimbo. However, the negotiations took an unexpected turn when the in-laws rejected his hard-earned $4,600 USD offer. Breaking News: Mbizo, Kwekwe’s self-proclaimed man of God, Prophet Leeroy Shiri of the Spring of Living Waters church, has been arrested.

Two years ago, in early 2024, Prophet Leeroy was arrested for assaulting a church member who was better known as Mai Madhanzi but avoided jail time when his sentence was reduced to community service.

This time, Prophet Leeroy faces serious charges for the brutal assault of his heavily pregnant wife. He is currently held at Kwekwe Prison and is expected to return to court in mid-March.

Meanwhile, his wife is receiving treatment at Kwekwe General Hospital. More details will emerge as the case develops.
