When styling your hair

Do not overuse products on the hair. Too much leave-in conditioner and other hair care product will create a build up on the hair and will cause it to tangle.

Wash hair with a good shampoo and conditioner if you experience tangling.

Don't continue to add product, as this won't solve the problem.

Be sure to gently brush and detangle hair before washing.The great thing about Virgin Human Indian Hair is that you can style it as you would your own hair.

You can color or perm the hair. Although you may bleach the hair (Virgin Wigs or Weaves) we suggest that you use a cream coloring system that isn't as harsh. This will prolong the life of the hair. Loreal or Miss Clairol are two brands that comes highly recommended.

You can brush, blow dry, curly with curling iron, straighten with a flat iron and style any way you'd like.

For Curly hair, be sure to brush the hair daily and apply a small amount of leave-in conditioner so the hair is soft and moist. We recommend Mixed Chicks or Moroccan Oil.

When washing your hair

Make sure hair is completely combed through and detangled before washing (we recommend a vent wig brush).

Wash with cool to warm water. Excessing heat will lead to softening of the weft.

Make sure hair is being washed in ONE direction (from scalp to ends) and avoid circular motions! This can lead to tangling.

Always use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. We receommend using Design Essentials moisture retention shampoo and express or stimulation conditioner.

When conditioner is on the hair, leave it on for approximately five minute, then comb through the hair starting from the ends.

Rinse thoroughly.Squeeze out excess water and blow dry gently.

Do not towel rub or twist the hair to dry.

I know this looks like a lot to read but trust me, it'll save you lots of money......

Frequently Asked Questions…….

• What does `“wefted” mean?

Wefted hair is hair used for weaving. It is sewn or bonded (with special bonding glue) into a track/braid ready for the weaving process.

• Can the weft be cut?
Yes the wefts are machine made but we strongly don’t recommend cutting. If cut, the hair is great for elastics or pick n drop.

• Does this hair shed?
Any hair that has been manufactured to be stitched on a weft is entitled to experience minimum shedding which is absolutely normal. Minimum shedding meaning (the hair will be never have a noticeable or drastic decrease in its density or volume. However, proper maintenance is extremely important and advised.

• How much hair do I need?
For 14-16"Inches, you Need 2 bundles Or More, Lengths 18-24"Lengths You Need 3 bundles Or More, Lengths 26-30" You Need 4 bundles or More, and 30"-Up"-5 bundles or More.

•How much does each bundle weight?
Each bundle weighs 100g.

• Can I colour this hair?
Yes, this is 100% virgin human hair. It is not processed in any way. So you can colour the hair. Once virgin hair is treated in any way however, it is no longer virgin, and therefore we recommend that your Indian Hair is coloured by a professional.

• What type of hair care products should I use?
Treat this hair like your own hair. Use good quality shampoo and conditioning products. Conditioning your hair is very important to keep it soft and manageable. We recommend using a deep conditioner on your virgin hair once a week, but avoid using oil or heavy styling products.

• Do I have to do anything special in the morning?
We advise that you comb your hair every morning. Gently brush your hair from the ends towards your scalp. Starting from the ends keeps the pressure off the weft area and is a good way to maintain the longevity of the extensions.

• Do I have to do anything special at night?
You must NEVER sleep on wet hair. Sleeping on wet hair is known to matte hair that makes it very difficult to keep the hair the way you want. Just make sure your hair is completely dry before you go to sleep and you shouldn’t have anything to worry about. Rolling your hair in rods at night will maintain your curls and limit the amount of heat you have to use on your hair daily.

• Is there maintenance involved with the upkeep of this hair?
Yes schedule your re-attachment appointments every 5-8 weeks.

• Can I go swimming?
You may go swimming in pools and hot tubs and you can use the sauna or steam room. We recommend braiding your hair or pulling it up into a ponytail before swimming to keep your hair from tangling. It is best to wash your hair right after swimming. Add a spray in conditioner after swimming.

• How often can I wash my hair?
As often as you like.

• How long does the hair last?
This hair can last for a very long time depending on how you maintain it. Treat it like your own hair and take good care of it for it to last longer. Depending on maintenance, hair will last 6 months to 2 years before you need to have it re-wefted and glued.

• What is the definition of Virgin & Remy?
“Virgin” meaning guaranteed to be unprocessed, free of any hair colour or chemicals, retaining all cuticles in its original healthy state.“Remy” meaning all cuticles of the hair are guaranteed to be in the same direction.This means no more hair tangling problems. It is 100% genuine Indian hair with a guarantee that our hair is sourced directly from India and is not mixed with any other types of human hair, animal hair or synthetic fibres.

Here are just a few tips on daily care to keep your hair weave looking healthy, manageable and re-usable.


• Styling Tools: It's very important to use a wide tooth or paddle back brush using gentle strokes, when washing and or styling the hair. Small tooth and retail combs can snag the hair which can cause unwanted shedding.

• Before Going to Bed: Gently brush hair to remove all tangles. Braid your hair into a couple of big braids, wrap your hair, or tie your hair into a ponytail or bun. Sleeping in a satin scarf is also beneficial.

• Washing Your Hair: Keeping your hair extensions clean is very important to making them last longer. Before washing your hair extensions: Brush your hair and remove all tangles and knots. Then wet a small portion of hair at the time and use a good detangling shampoo, and a rich moisturizer. Distribute shampoo and conditioner evenly throughout the hair. Always wash my hair going in a downward motion. Apply a deep moisturizing conditioner to your extensions.After washing and conditioning your hair, apply a good leave -in conditioning product, this always helps to keep your hair super soft and moist.

• Wavy & Curly Hair: If you have wavy or curly textured hair extensions and plan to wear the hair wavy or curly you need to apply a curl defining/curl control cream while the hair is wet. This way it will stop the hair from frizzing and lock in the wave or curl in the hair.

You can basically do anything with it; curl, colour, brush, comb, and flat iron it to any style just like your natural hair. If you are not familiar with colouring hair please take extensions to a professional colourist!!!
