GO WELL SON OF AFRICA
The Chairperson, Board of Directors, Members of Staff and Students of the Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy express their deepest sympathies to the Republic of Zimbabwe, to His Excellency E.D Mnangagwa, President of the Republic of Zimbabwe and the Moyo family on the untimely demise of Ambassador Simon Khaya Moyo, the former Zanu Pf spokesperson. They say he has passed away but he has not, he continues to live in our memories. In SK we have lost an iconic symbol of unity and integrative diplomacy for the nation. SK leaves an indelible mark in the annals of Zimbabwe’s democratic transformation and nation building. His impact transcends our national boundaries to the developing world. Sk will continue to reside in our memories as he joins other fallen heroes like R.G Mugabe, Nelson Mandela and Kenneth Kaunda to mention a few. Heroes never die, they are alive in our memories.
May His Soul Rest in Eternal Peace.

https://www.zimdiplomacy.com/news/celebrating-the-day-of-solidarity-against-zimbabwe-illegal-sanctions/

We mark 25 October 2021 the Zimbabwe Anti Sanctions Day as a a day of Solidarity with the toiling masses of the Republic of Zimbabwe who now for 20 years have endured the illegal unilateral sanctions and economic development restrictions imposed by the Western Nations including the United States of America, Britain and the European Union.

The European Union and the United Kingdom call them sanctions while the US call them smart sanctions or restrictions under the Zimbabwe Democracy and Economic Recovery Act of 2001 (ZIDERA) signed in by former US President, George W. Every US Administration including Mr Trump’s has been extending these sanctions. Yes, whether we like it or not Zimbabwe and Zimbabweans are under these draconian illegal sanctions.

ZIMBABWE INSTITUTE OF DIPLOMACY: Etiquette Development Programme: Children & Youth Module

"Becoming responsible adults is no longer a matter of whether children hang up there pajamas or put dirty towels in the hamper, but whether they care about themselves and others -- and whether they see everyday chores as related to how we treat this planet." - Eda LeShan

The lack of good manners is a growing problem in classrooms and playgrounds. Our children and youth need to fully develop and learn proper etiquette and social aptness skills to guide them away from truancy, delinquency, poor behavior, dropping out of school, drug and alcohol abuse which hamper their positive growth and development leading to poor academic results and low carrier achievement. The Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy has found it compelling to develop a strong etiquette and social skills programme which is critical to raising healthy, productive and responsible children to graduate into adulthood and the professional world.

During the dining session, students are instructed on place settings, conduct during a meal, how to consume food properly, conversation topics, the art of thank you, and how to conduct themselves in a professional or social setting.

SOCIAL SKILLS TUTORING PROGRAM - IMPROVE ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT - DEVELOP YOUR CHILD'S SOCIAL SKILLS

Does your child have trouble interacting with peers/playmates or difficulty learning in school?

Are you interested in teaching your child how to socially connect to improve his/her academics, self-esteem, confidence, and leadership skills?

I work one-on-one with students age 5 and up to help them develop their emotional intelligence, communication, manners, organizational, and social skills to advance academically, socially, and professionally. I tutor students in various academic subject areas helping them become well-rounded individuals. The tutoring sessions are tailored to meet your child's specific needs.

Children who fail to learn appropriate social skills lack self-esteem and struggle to succeed in
School, develop emotionally, interact positively with friends, and learn problem-solving skills. Social skills are also critical in obtaining gainful employment. Employers judge individuals based on their communication (verbal/nonverbal cues) and social skills.

With appropriate instruction, stimulating interaction, and entertaining activities, children can develop the emotional intelligence and social skills needed to be comfortable and adept in handling diverse situations.

Our sessions will produce real, immediate improvements in your child's behavior, social skills, and academic achievement.
