GO WELL SON OF AFRICA
The Chairperson, Board of Directors, Members of Staff and Students of the Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy express their deepest sympathies to the Republic of Zimbabwe, to His Excellency E.D Mnangagwa, President of the Republic of Zimbabwe and the Moyo family on the untimely demise of Ambassador Simon Khaya Moyo, the former Zanu Pf spokesperson. They say he has passed away but he has not, he continues to live in our memories. In SK we have lost an iconic symbol of unity and integrative diplomacy for the nation. SK leaves an indelible mark in the annals of Zimbabwe’s democratic transformation and nation building. His impact transcends our national boundaries to the developing world. Sk will continue to reside in our memories as he joins other fallen heroes like R.G Mugabe, Nelson Mandela and Kenneth Kaunda to mention a few. Heroes never die, they are alive in our memories.
May His Soul Rest in Eternal Peace.

We mark 25 October 2021 the Zimbabwe Anti Sanctions Day as a a day of Solidarity with the toiling masses of the Republic of Zimbabwe who now for 20 years have endured the illegal unilateral sanctions and economic development restrictions imposed by the Western Nations including the United States of America, Britain and the European Union.
The European Union and the United Kingdom call them sanctions while the US call them smart sanctions or restrictions under the Zimbabwe Democracy and Economic Recovery Act of 2001 (ZIDERA) signed in by former US President, George W. Every US Administration including Mr Trump’s has been extending these sanctions. Yes, whether we like it or not Zimbabwe and Zimbabweans are under these draconian illegal sanctions.
The Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy has started its face to face training workshops in the wake up to the easing by Government of COVID19 restrictions on face-to-face classes. Pioneers in the resumption was the Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (PRAZ)
