spencer banda of sodbury school has been ra**ng girls for many years and is still on the run. Why , you may ask we also have the same question. We ask you to look into the matter so that justice may prevail over the victims and save the potential victims . #spencermustfall #spencerisadog Child Line DO SOMETHING
Please go and investigate the issue of sexual abuse going on at Sodbury School. Some victims came out on Sis Melly diaries and talked of their experiences, dating back to 1998. Students were sexually abused by Spencer Banda and his now late father who was the school Head. It is strongly believed that these practises are still ongoing at the school, through Spencer Banda. We have tagged some community influencers on this post in the comments who are willing and able to assist with any further information you may require.

Others have felt that Childline is an imported Western concept that undermines the values and culture of the community. In any culture throughout the world, the basic unit in any community is the family and rightly so. As Childline Zimbabwe, it brings us joy to see the impact our programs have in the community. Meet Mr. Marembo from Epworth. He shares how attending positive parenting sessions helped to transform his relationship with his daughter.

"I would like to thank Childline for the positive parenting programs they brought to Epworth. They helped me to build a better relationship with my daughter. Before the parenting lessons, they were topics that were hard to discuss with my daughter. For example, talking about menstrual hygiene or even going to the shops to buy pads for my daughter. But, after I attended the parenting sessions we were given effective communication tools to use with our children. Now, I am happy to say there is no subject that is taboo when it comes to my daughter and me. I am really grateful to Childline for helping me to develop an open relationship with my daughter"

We appreciate the great support from Plan International Zimbabwe under the project. For helping us to impact the lives of young girls and women in Epworth.
