Happy Weekend!
As Childline Zimbabwe, it brings us joy to see the impact our programs have in the community. Meet Mr. Marembo from Epworth. He shares how attending positive parenting sessions helped to transform his relationship with his daughter.
"I would like to thank Childline for the positive parenting programs they brought to Epworth. They helped me to build a better relationship with my daughter. Before the parenting lessons, they were topics that were hard to discuss with my daughter. For example, talking about menstrual hygiene or even going to the shops to buy pads for my daughter. But, after I attended the parenting sessions we were given effective communication tools to use with our children. Now, I am happy to say there is no subject that is taboo when it comes to my daughter and me. I am really grateful to Childline for helping me to develop an open relationship with my daughter"
We appreciate the great support from Plan International Zimbabwe under the project. For helping us to impact the lives of young girls and women in Epworth.
