Safety is 5 star but electrical issues occur more often than I would like in Audi, thus a 4 star. To me safety from German engineering deserves a 5 star, however, electrical issues in the vehicle can be frustrating. It does not mean that the minis don't last here but its the mechanic who don't go further with engines. Tiny engines timing is just another clunk, Try find a mechanic who give you the best deal for lubes and design you a service log coz most of these vehicles hardly hit a 3 year lifespan. Aluminum blocks have a maintenance way, be careful of sludge buildups and beware again of using engine flush fluids during service. Find a good service advisor, find the right mechanic and life of that mini get an extended warranty.

Synthetics are fine but not all are recommended for the tiny chunks, know the right oil, service interval and service pack.

Before you purchase a vehicle in Zimbabwe. Dont be quick to consider only fuel economy as that is nowadays natural with every buyer. Not only tiny cars are fuel savers but consider safety, comforty , durability, service intervals ,versatility and personality.
