The conduit work is designed to have ' ZESA only' circuits and circuits for backup that work on 'ZESA and Battries'. Battery backup is for and critical loads such as entertainment and lighting. While a generator might be used for cooking,fridges or AC. Wiring the ZESA from battery circuits will significantly reduce the cost of inverter,solar and batteries and also increase their efficiency.
