Considering going to work in the UK?
Check out this leaflet for guidance - to help you stay safe and informed.

The UK supports demining operations in Zimbabwe – through our partners The HALO Trust and Mines Advisory Group MAG- Zimbabwe over 8.5 million square metres of land has been demined and made safe to use. On a recent visit to Ganganyama Village in Rushinga in north east Zimbabwe we were able to see first-hand the huge impact UK support has had. Previously, just 300 metres from the school playground lay one of the densest barrier minefields in the world. Since being declared mine-free in July 2019 the school has installed wifi and is planning to build an extra classroom to accommodate the children, since clearance the children attending on a regular basis has increased from 100 children to over 300. The health centre has expanded – installing solar panels as well as several extra buildings including a covered waiting area for patients.
It's only through the strong partnerships between donors, implementing partners and ZIMAC (Zimbabwe Mine Action Centre) that we have managed to come so far. Congratulations must go to ZIMAC who have been rated “Best in Class” in the global 2022 Mine Action Review - Clearing the Mines 2022 https://www.mineactionreview.org/documents-and-reports/clearing-the-mines-2022

UKVI strongly recommend that students apply for their visa as early as possible as decisions are taking 4 weeks to process. We receive high volumes of applications in August, so we urge you to prepare and submit your application in July to avoid disappointment.
If you are waiting for your CAS reference number, you can prepare your supporting documents in the meantime.
You will need:
✅ Current passport/travel documentation
✅ Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) reference number
Depending on your personal circumstances and where you are applying from, you may also need:
✅ Proof of English language proficiency. This could be an IELTS test result (other tests are accepted too)
✅ Proof that you can pay for your course fees and maintenance for one academic year. The amount will depend on your personal circumstances.
✅ Consent from a parent or guardian if under 18
✅ Copies of your education certificates
✅ TB test certificate (country dependent https://www.gov.uk/tb-test-visa/countries-where-you-need-a-tb-test-to-enter-the-uk)
✅ ATAS certificate (course dependent) https://www.gov.uk/guidance/academic-technology-approval-scheme#student-visitors
