Has anyone noticed how grumpy birds can be? On my recent trip to Mana Pools I spent a lot of quality time at the various waterholes that were rapidly drying up and witnessed a lot of birds fighting, particularly the larger species. The dwindling water brought masses of birds to the area to hunt the increasingly exposed fish in the pools and I guess this comes with its share of territorial dispute! This one log in particular was a favourite spot for some action packed drama as several Great White Egrets coveted its prime position. Do you not think that the resulting shots are quite elegant in their violence?Which one is your favourite?

Another successful and enjoyable completed this past weekend with a happy bunch of learners! It's always satisfying for me to see how people enjoy learning about photography on our courses! Check out what some of our learners said about our courses!

Good morning and happy Monday! I thought I could brighten your day with a few ore pictures from my recent trip , this time with some portrait orientated images!

I am privileged enough to visit Mana Pools National Park at least once every year, sometimes when I'm very lucky more often, and each time I see something, different, amazing or just mind blowing. This years' trip in October was no different, yes the drought meant the animals looked under a lot of pressure but they were surviving the tough circumstances. The park was drier than normal with raging dust storms the norm every day, adding even more atmosphere to this iconic tract of wilderness. I have done a quick selection of landscape orientated pics for your viewing pleasure, portraits to be posted soon! Let me know which one is your favourite!

I have been working closely recently with the dynamic team at to produce images of their fuel stations and staff for their website and social media channels. The brief involved showcasing the different RK stations around Harare and their energetic staff. I was lucky to have a few stunning sunsets at some of the locations which added the cherry on the cake of a successful shoot. What do you think of the results?

Calling all keen photographers! Why not start your learning journey with me this November on my Intro to Photography (9 Nov) and Intro to Lightroom (10 Nov) courses? In August I was asked by Harare's newest boutique establishment, to create some images of their new space for the upcoming launch drive. The focus was generally on the rooms as the public areas were still having their facelift finished. Each room had its own unique style and design elements and I was very happy with the results we created. What do you think?
