lt is amazing how Craig Pichisi celebrates his birthdays. Every year Craig chooses a character and what he thinks could be in life. His mother mai Pichisi decided to support him, making Craig's dreams always come to reality. Just like many other Zimbabwean women, mai Pichisi is self employed. Craig's mother sells different products for kids and she loves art as well.
She always finds time and always go with Craig's ideas.

On 15 January Craig turned five, in a soldier character. He likes watching cartoons a lot. His imaginations always lead him to a theme. He has always wanted to be a super hero, and sometimes he wishes to fly in the air.
At four, Craig celebrated his birthday as a jungle boy and he has been doing different themes from three years.

Craig's mother always makes his birthday costumes and she is also his makeup artist 🎨. All these is self taught just to make Craig happy. It is amazing how she has been committed in realising Craig's interests and decided to help him as he grow.

We can't wait to see Craig at six.

Art teacher here. We getting to the end of of our school year. l am tired, kids are tired, everyone is tired.
Im just feeling so unappreciated as a teacher. You get absolutely no thanks being a specialist. I watch as other class teachers get heartfelt presents. l know our job should not be about presents or the thanks. Its just that l pour my absolute heart and soul into my job and into each class, and theres absolutely no recognition from the families or even from other teachers.
Ands then this way just icing on the cake. l dont mind when teachers borrow things from the art room, but at least clean up after yourself.
My fellow art teachers, l appreciate everything you do for your school and for your kids. Keep on keeping on...
Dear reader, appreciate your art teacher, music teacher, janitor, security Guards( They worked double duties on entry points this covid years) These people move the school!
Art teachers are the pillars behind graduation parties, christmas evenings, culture days, photo days and day to day child development learning.
