About our Empathy day
“Empathy is seeing with the eyes of another, listening with the ears of another and feeling with the heart of another.” – Alfred Adler. Empathy is something that we learn and keep on learning – throughout our lives. It’s an essential life skill that helps us build strong relationships and is a key factor in our wellbeing. We had a wonderful day at Nazareth Shelter Old peoples home in Chinhoyi yesterday.
We would like to thank our parents who supported the initiative. We donated some food items and clothing to the home. We would also like to give a special thank you to TMB Beauty Charity all the way from Harare for complementing our initiative. They came with a team of hair dressers and barbers. The elderly were given beautiful hair cuts.

About Our Career Day…….
“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life” —Confucius
Parents, find out what your children like doing best and help them to get there. Malcom X once said, “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.” So let us help these little ones to prepare for the future.

Our pioneer prefects.

Dear Lord,
As our students begin a new school term,
we pray that you will keep them in your care.
Send your Spirit to open their minds
to all that is true and beautiful and good
Help them to see the gifts and talents
you have given them and to use them well.
Help them to grow in knowledge and wisdom.
Help them to be kind to others
and lead others to be kind to them.
Give their teachers patience and understanding
and help them teach what is just and true.
Send your angels to guide and guard our
children and to keep them from all harm.
Open their young hearts to your presence
and enfold them in your peace and protection.
Hold them in the palm of your hand
and bring them home safely at day’s end.
Amen.

Infants athletics inter-house competition
It was indeed a day full of fun and entertainment when our infants held their inter-house athletic competitions on Friday the 3rd of June at the Golf course in Chinhoyi. A lot of different athletic races were lined up, and truly our infants did well. It was St Scholastic that scooped the first position displacing Don Bosco the defending champions from the seniors inter-house.
It is a fact that sports can have lots of positive impacts on children. It is understood that participation in sports can aid physical and social development, contribute to academic success and help nurture a child’s self-esteem. We are glad that modern day parents have much appreciation of sporting activities than our traditional parents.

Happy Africa day. We celebrate Africa's rich heritage, its people, cultural diversity and exciting gastronomy.
