Umguza RDC!!
Doing business with these people is a field full of landmines. If you are be advised that;
-when purchasing a stand they will ask for USD. You cannot pay it into their account, it is paid in cash to a specific person. This money cannot be accounted for as USD meaning that when there is a problem the records show you as having paid rtgs. They are converting a portion to rtgs which is accounted for and the rest is ending you know where.
-when you do your plans they will reject plans for flimsy reasons so that they can fleece you of your cash when your architect advises you that there is nothing wrong with the plan. Your desperation to build will lead you pay up.
-they insist that they want a soft copy of the plan. There is no council that requires that except them. This is so that they can simply change details on the plan and sell your plans to someone else without breaking a sweat. This process takes less than a minute whilst you would have paid hundreds of dollars to have the plans drawn.
-inspectors who come to see your progress will always find something to fail so that you cry to them then they do you “a favour” and pass it when you cough out some cash.
-normal office functions are made almost impossible to clients. This pervasive behaviour covers almost all sectors of their offioces and is designed to frustrate people and make them pay in order to get progress. Umguza is the most client unfriendly council in the country and hopefully as we pass on this message this can be highlighted and the necessary authorities take action but even if they don’t at least people are aware. Remember they are the ones who have oversight over the different Hopeville projects, the Gold City between Harare and Gwanda Road and the Kensington Montgomery areas, Rangemore and Mbundane developments.
Mbundane which is using blair toilets is contaminating underground water supplies that any borehole dug there will be drinking faeces and urine whilst some corrupt people line up their pockets.
_Knowledge is power now use your power wisely_
This corruption must be uprooted.
Mindful leadership has become more important than ever as our workforces and customers find themselves in an unfamiliar, fast-changing worldwide condition. Individuals are looking to pioneers for empathy, care and confidence in navigating the murky waters of both the present and future. Are you equipped to provide it?
