The "Hartsfield Trust" was initiated in 2002, with the sole purpose of protecting and preserving our Rugby Memorabilia.
This Trust incorporates persons who have served rugby at Club, Provincial and National levels covering decades of years, namely :- James Stobbs, Mike Micklesfield, Willie Anderson, Walter Lacey, Tendayi Tabvuma, Hugh Roberts, William van der Merwe, Bruce Longhurst, Viv Johnson, Lou Corbi and Brett Holloway.
In May 2015, the Trustees embarked on logging and removal of Memorabilia from Hartsfield to The Bulawayo Club.
The facility, kindly donated at no cost, to the "Hartsfield Trust", by the Members of The Bulawayo Club, under a legal Agreement of Loan.
The Bulawayo Club had been revamping their facilities as part of a Bulawayo Historic Museum and with this understanding, have offered an independent room adequate to replicate and display the Hartsfield Trust Memorabilia.
The "Hartsfield Trustees" are satisfied with the security on offer at the Bulawayo Club, plus the knowledge that the public can view this old and new rugby memorabilia day or night during the week, with added benefit of the bar, lounge and service facilities. This relocation and revamping of the memorabilia has received full support from all true rugby supporters, with offers of personal donations and memorabilia being received worldwide.
* Phase 1 of the relocation was achieved in June 2015, and ensured that all memorabilia located at Hartsfield in the President's Room would be displayed at The Bulawayo Club.
* Phase 2 was finalized with an addition of 10 display cabinets, in June 2022, and proudly displays new memorabilia that has been donated to the Trust.
The safe keeping, integrity and advancement of this Memorabilia will continue to be under the guidance of the "Hartsfield Trust" committee who will ensure that its members have the best interests of rugby at heart.
The "Hartsfield Trust" will keep you appraised of accurate improvements and progress regarding the upgrade of the memorabilia.

Bulawayo, The start of it all!!

Untitled Album

This is a collection of pictures taken at Hartsfield in the Presidents Room before moving to Bulawayo Club. Please note that there are some that are of the same display. This because I have not edited the material, only posted it. All items from these displays should all now be on display at the Presidents Room at the Bulawayo Club. More items are being added as more cabinetry is completed.

These photos are armature shots of the Presidents Room at Bulawayo Club in January 2018. The photos do not do it or its setting justice and a visit is certainly worth while
