No lies but sighs ,
We all wonder as boredom dies,
We watch beauty as it flies,
Surely Africa is nothing but a paradise.

Welcome to where beauty walks,
In a place where only gleams of splendour talks,
Its where gorgeousnes never fades,
As we gaze at the charming parrots ,the singing birds.

From Algiers to the amazing Ethiopian lands,
Down to the tranquil seas of the fine Durban sands.
Its magical beauty that paces within African borders,
And I just wish I can talk about its soul sweetening daughters.

This morning on my threshold,
Cadaverous thoughts appeared
In their old suits,
Carrying a plant ready to bear fruits.

One after the other,
Painting pictures, making me wonder
What exactly?
'Tell her', really?

'Tell her I must'
I thought, deep in dust
Then I opted for a walk,
A lonely jog to the park.

I walked down the aisle
I saw, a glee
Grasshoppers in love,
Kissing like dove— dove.

Then I missed a step,
Like a drunkard taking a nap,
I kissed the ground,
Thoughts played marry- go- round.

Then I saw, (bright)
Fire in the twilight;
Angels in the penny arcades;
Slow dancing by the dunes.

I sighed to what I saw,
Us dancing on the shore;
Seashells playing concertos for our ears;
And l felt desire running like honey in our voices.

Jelous haunted me as I get back to present,
But that gave birth to
this confidence,
So now hear me,
'Marry me.'
