Today we'll look at computer storage drives
There are primarily two types, the common Hard disk drive (HDD) and the Solid State Drive (SSD).
HDD is the most common and affordable type of computer storage. It has its pros and cons. Its pros - It has a longer lifespan, is readily available, and is less expensive. Its cons - Because it has moving parts, it consumes more power than SSD, so laptops with this storage drain out of power quicker than their SSD counterparts. It is also susceptible to damage by shock when dropped.

For good performance on HDDs, keep a healthy amount of free space on them. An almost empty disk performs better than an almost full one. Also, keep it defragmented often, through the defragment utility.

The SSD on the other hand uses the same technology as your flash drive. Its pros - uses less power, so saves battery power on laptops. It also has faster performance compared to its HDD counterpart.
Its cons - it has a shorter lifespan compared to HDD.
