THE DERBY WINNERS
Solinski won the Zimbabwe Derby in fine style, leading from start to finish over 2400m. Karl Zechner rode for Kirk Swanson.
Minor places went to Life Is Good, Flasher On The Run and Crystalline. Great race and congrats to all involved.
The Derby winner is owned by the Dixie Chick Syndicate, Dubbles Draper, Jackie and Duncan Cocksedge, Ursula Malan and C. John Smith - and it was wonderful to see Dubbles back at the races to see the filly run. Solinski is by Fencing Master (GB) out of a Sobiesksi (USA) mare, and she was bred in Zimbabwe at Sarahdane Stud.

TWO ON THE TROT FOR JAY KAY TWO
The three-year-old Century Stand (AUS) gelding, Jay Kay Two,
has now won both his starts. He triumphed again in the 1200m Novice Plate at Borrowdale Park on Saturday, and Simona, Tierce and Detente ran into the places.
Trained by Penny Fisher, Jay Kay Two is owned by Julie Zieve and was bred by Sarahdane Stud. Ryan Munger was in the irons, and this was his first of three winning rides during the afternoon. Congratulations to the winning connections.

Fantastic news for Fencing Master he had his first runner today in cape town. MOUNT KEITH out of Mandla. Ran a great second to be beaten by a Var c**t. What a fantastic start!!!
CENTURY STAND DOES IT AGAIN.
Two sons of Century Stand make their first starts a winning one. First race at Borrowdale Park today won by Paint It Black (Century Stand x Stella Bella) won in fine style. Well done to the Breeder and owner Spotted Pig Stud.
Second race today won by Century Sunrise (Century Stand x Sunrise Creek) bred here at Sarahdane owned by Mr Kalfan.
