Hopeful UPND aspiring mayor Dorcus Musukwa, who also serves as UPND Women’s Wing Vice Coordinator for Ndola District, joined party officials and community members at the burial of an (8) eight-year-old girl who tragically lost her life following heavy rains in Chipulukusu Ward of Ndola Central Constituency.
Speaking during the funeral Ms Musukwa conveyed heartfelt condolences to the grieving family and expressed sympathy on behalf of the UPND leadership.
Ms Musukwa She encouraged the family to remain strong, united, and prayerful during this painful period.
Community members gathered in solidarity, mourning the young life lost and calling for improved safety measures during the rainy season.

With a heart set on service, Ms. Dorcus Musukwa pledged to uplift the youths of Ndola by creating employment opportunities for all, regardless of political affiliation. She proudly shared that she has already lobbied jobs for 16 young people from all four constituencies, proving that leadership is about action, not words.
“As of 13 August, when I am ushered into office, I will be mayor for everyone,” she said, promising to continue seeking opportunities for the city’s youth.
One beneficiary expressed heartfelt gratitude and encouraged fellow youths to support Ms. Musukwa, praising her inclusive spirit and dedication.

Voters Also in Churches – Musukwa

Aspiring Ndola mayor Ms Dorcus Musukwa says voters are not only found in communities but also in churches, and she will continue engaging both groups.
Speaking during a church service in Nkwazi, Ms Musukwa said she remains committed to interacting with residents and supporting various churches across the city. She emphasized the importance of unity and peaceful participation as Zambia approaches the August general election.
Ms Musukwa called on church leaders to pray for the nation to ensure a peaceful electoral process.
“ms Musukwa urged the clergy to pray for Zambia so that we have peace before, during and after the elections,” she said.
Pastor Chella assured the congregation and all politicians that the church will continue praying for peace ahead of the forthcoming general election
