Meet Nama Kau Contestant No.7
She is a 19-year-old aspiring nail tech and makeup artist from Sesheke, Western Province. She is currently a Grade 12 pupil at Sesheke Secondary School.
Beyond her passion for beauty and artistry, Namakau is a dedicated advocate for social change. She is deeply committed to ending child abuse, early marriages, and teenage pregnancy. Most importantly, she is passionate about fighting menstrual poverty among young girls and women.
As a participant in this year’s Miss Menstrual Health Zambia, Namakau sees this platform as an opportunity to amplify her advocacy efforts. Through awareness campaigns on menstrual hygiene, she aims to break the stigma surrounding menstruation and ensure that no girl is forced to miss school due to a lack of menstrual products. Her ultimate goal is to make menstrual poverty a thing of the past and create a society where every girl has access to the dignity and support she deserves.
