As I get older, I don’t care about being impressive anymore. I care about being honest. I care about being kind when it’s inconvenient. I care about who shows up when things aren’t fun or exciting. I’ve stopped chasing rooms where I have to prove myself and started choosing spaces where I can just exist without performing. Peace has become more attractive than attention. And if that makes my world smaller, that’s okay. I’d rather have real than loud.

Sometimes the person you see as a friend may not see you the same way...Friday is close to Monday,but Monday is far from Friday.
