Zambians deserve clear answers, health is too important for secrecy
On Friday LCK Freedom Foundation, in collaboration with Chapter One Foundation and, ActionAid hosted a public discussion on Zambia–USA Health Aid Agreements. A key concern emerged: The government has a responsibility to provide timely, accurate, and transparent information to its citizens. When official communication is lacking, people are left to rely on leaks and speculation undermining trust and accountability.
Transparency is not a favour but a duty. Zambians are not questioning the need for aid they are calling for transparency. Without clear information, speculation grows, and trust is lost thereby putting lives at stake.
