ZAMBIA FORWARD WITH CASH FOR WORK UNDER HH.

Elderly people in all rural areas of Zambia received K800 plus cash for work which helps them buy one or two things. THIS IS BECAUSE PRESIDENT HAKAINDE HICHILEMA AND HIS GOVERNMENT HAVE FOUGHT CORRUPTION.

President Hichilema has restored peace and unity.

Peace is the foundation everything else is built on. Without it, there is no investment, no development, no progress. With it, Zambia has rebuilt its economy and begun to move forward once more.

On 13 August, let's choose peace again.

The vandalism of campaign materials is unacceptable and has no place in our democracy. We condemn such acts in the strongest terms.

To all UPND members and supporters, we urge you not to retaliate. Remain peaceful, disciplined and law-abiding. Let us leave the politics of thuggery, intimidation and destruction in the past where it belongs. To those involved in such thuggery acts and their sponsors, don't cry persecution when caught.

As we approach the elections, let us win through ideas, not violence; through unity, not intimidation; and through peace, not provocation.

FROM RECORD HARVEST TO LASTING PROSPERITY

“When the farmer wins, the nation eats.”
This year, Zambian farmers didn’t just win — they made history. A 5.1‑million‑tonne maize harvest, the largest ever recorded, driven by reform, farmer choice, and targeted investment.

At the centre of this shift is the transformation of FISP. What used to be a rigid, manual system is now a digital e‑Voucher that sends subsidies straight to farmers’ cards or phones. From Nkana to Chisamba to Monze, farmers choose inputs that match their soils, crops, and market plans. Autonomy replaced bureaucracy, and yields surged.

To break the old cycle of “no money, no inputs,” government introduced SAFF, offering affordable credit at 14 percent for up to 36 months. Farmers can now buy inputs on time, invest in machinery, and manage harvests with confidence. The shift from subsistence to commercial farming is no longer theoretical; it is visible across the country.

The results are clear: stronger food security, rising rural incomes, stabilising prices, and a growing agribusiness sector attracting private investment. This historic harvest sets the baseline for the next ambition — 10 million tonnes by 2031.

So to those offering alternatives, we ask: what is your answer to these results?

1. Enhanced CDF at K40 million per constituency — Development funding now sits with the people, letting communities set their own priorities.
2. Free education — Over 2.6 million children are back in class.
3. School feeding programs — 4.7 million children fed, learning on full stomachs.
4. The end of caderism — Markets and bus stations liberated from political intimidation.
5. Debt restructuring — 94% of our debt restructured, with international credit ratings upgraded.
6. Fixing the economy — Inflation back to single digits, a stabilized Kwacha now ranked among the world’s best-performing currencies.
7. Mining sector revival — An industry that had collapsed is now running again.
8. Growing reserves — International reserves rebuilt to secure our future.

This list is not exhaustive. But one fact is: Zambia has turned the corner. The signs of progress are undeniable. Yes, more work remains.
