Funeral Update
‎
‎The burial for the late Shepardess Ellen Mukoma is taking place today at 14:00hrs with the Church service to be held at Hillcrest SDA Church.
‎
‎Who is Ellen Mwangala Mukoma ? was wife to the then Zambia Union Conference President. Pastor Mukoma who saved from 1995 to 1998 and died the same year in 1998 while still serving as Union President. Pastor Mukoma died in a Road traffic accident near the University of Zambia.

‎The late Shepardess died on 25th of May, 2026 at Livingstone University Teaching Hospital after battling stroke for over a decade.
‎
‎Among the notable at the funeral are the The Southern Indian Ocean Division Union's wife Shepardesses Akombwa , Southern Zambia Union Ministerial Secretary Dr Sailas Chabala, Woodlands Conference President Dr Daniel Chuunga and the spouse, Rusangu Conference Pastor Simatele IBR Director and Lecturer at the Rusangu University and the wife, Dr Kasaji Rusangu University.

Musi-O-tunya Conference is represented by Shepherdess Muvwimi spouse to the Conference President, Pastor Siachibila the Executive Secretary and the Shepardess, Spouse to the Youth/Music and Communication Director Shepardess Kazumba, Ministerial Secretary Pastor Mundia and the spouse. Also present are the local District pastors Pastor Braiden Chaba of Livingstone Central Mission District and Pastor Siangulube Livingstone East Mission District and the Shepardesses.
