Whitewater Kayaker travelling the world. Paddler of the Year 2024 🏆
I’ve been using action cameras for around 15 years now, and witnessing their development has been nothing short of crazy.
After spending roughly 14 years shooting on GoPro, I recently made the switch to DJI’s action cameras. With that change, it felt like the perfect time to put them side by side and dive a little deeper into what really matters when it comes to filming kayaking.
After a full year using the Osmo Action 5 Pro and now moving over to the Osmo Action 6, I’m happy to say that progress is still very real—and capturing content keeps getting better and better.

Back from the Muksu, high water due to the heat gave us quite something to chew on and we ended up paddling amazing whitewater but also doing some pretty sketchy portaging for 1.5 days over mountain passes and absolute no-fall zones with wind gusts blowing us around. This will be a wild story to tell, looking forward to getting the YouTube video out! Big up to such an amazing crew for keeping it tight when needed and still making this a memorable and really fun time.🙌

One of the wildest expeditions of my life – remote places, flooded whitewater, wildlife and first descents.
 
Together we pushed through Madagascar’s untouched wilderness with passion, humor, grit, and a healthy dose of naivity which was needed to push through some of the challenges.
