Today is World Disability Day, a powerful reminder that Zambia’s development is measured by how we include those most often left behind.

At COREPlus Consult, we believe disability inclusion is not a side programme — it is a development imperative.
The SDGs call for universal equality and access for all.
The 8th National Development Plan puts inclusion at the centre of national transformation.

But true inclusion only happens when policy reaches the household, the community, and the caregiver.

As a nation, we must strengthen:

Disability-inclusive social protection that supports both persons with disabilities and their caregivers

Accessible education, health, and livelihood services across urban and rural areas

Meaningful participation of persons with disabilities in planning and decision-making

Recognition and support for the unpaid care work that sustains families and communities

A truly developed Zambia is one where every citizen can participate, contribute, and thrive — without barriers.

COREPlus Consult Ltd is excited to share the successful completion of the implementation of Celim Zambia's EDU-CARE Project Impact Evaluation Study. This impactful study took place in Lusaka and Copperbelt Province of Zambia, focusing on inclusive actions to safeguard the rights of Children with Disabilities in the region. The evaluation's findings highlighted a powerful message: given the right opportunities, Children and People with Disabilities can accomplish anything, demonstrating resilience and potential akin to that of any other individual.
