Our village chickens are a mixed breed. Unlike commercial chickens, village chickens naturally roam freely and often mate with different local breeds. This creates strong, hardy birds with a mix of traits that are well adapted to local conditions.

This week's allocation is 4.2kg, split into two equal servings of 2.1kg, half in the morning and the remaining half in the late afternoon.

I may have been late with the calculations, but the pekin ducks definitely weren't late for dinner! 😂
