Rules 📝

Here are some traditional rules for playing pool, specifically for Our Tournament

- The goal is to be the first player to legally pocket all of your designated balls (stripes or solids) and then pocket the eight ball.

Setup
1. **Rack the Balls**: The 15 object balls are arranged in a triangle with the eight ball in the center. The back corner balls must be a stripe and a solid.
2. **Break**: The game starts with a break shot. At least four balls must hit the cushions or a ball must be pocketed for the break to be legal.

Turns
- Players take turns to shoot. If a player pockets a ball, they continue their turn.

Calling Shots
- Players must call their shots, indicating which ball and pocket they intend to use. If a player fails to make the called shot, their turn ends.

Fouls
- Common fouls include:
- Failing to hit your own ball first.
- Not hitting any balls.
- Pocketing the cue ball (scratch).
- After a foul, the incoming player gets ball-in-hand, meaning they can place the cue ball anywhere on the table.

Winning the Game
- After all of a player's designated balls are pocketed, they must legally pocket the eight ball to win. If they pocket the eight ball prematurely or commit a foul in the process, they lose.

Additional Rules
- If the eight ball is pocketed during the break, it can be re-racked with the same player breaking again or counted as a win depending on house rules.

Variations
- Different locations may have specific house rules, so it's always good to clarify before starting a game.

Feel free to ask if you need anything else
