I stopped buying into the “girl’s girl” thing on social media a while ago because a lot of y’all are only girl’s girls under certain circumstances and conditions.

You’re a “girl’s girl” until that girl is living the lifestyle you desired. Until that girl possesses something you haven’t yet acquired or attained, whether it be materialistic/tangible or something internal like her character & her glow.✨

You’re a “girl’s girl” until that girl surpasses you in business, in beauty, in blessings. That’s not sisterhood! That’s selective support.

You’re only kind, honest, understanding, supportive, genuine & loving to the women around you that you feel like aren’t a threat. Every woman who is you become obsessed with trying to humble, study & imitate, out-do, or villainize.

So for those reasons, I’m not big on being a “girl’s girl” or being around women who scream that they are. I like being around secure women with their own mind, passions, style, personality, blessings & creativity. The real will always gravitate.🫶🏾

WE HAVE RAISED SUPERSTARS, WHERE ARE THE ROLE MODELS?

This generation really needs role models, not just superstars. Fame should guide us to live right, not mess up our future.

I'm genuinely worried about my generation. The stories being written about us right now are alarming! This isn't the Zambia we want our kids to inherit. We can definitely do better.

Seriously, where's our dignity as people? What happened to our cultural values? When did we, as leaders, forget our moral duties?

We honestly need to check ourselves, our behavior, and how we live. What we're currently famous for just isn't worth it.

As a Christian nation, Zambia should be known for shining brightly in morality. This moral degradation we're seeing isn't who we truly are!

Let's rise above chasing stardom and seriously think about the impact our choices have on the next generation.

May God help Zambia raise the right banner. We pray for the rise of the right examples in our generation, in every area of influence.
